Excellent launch, thermal, XC and landing techniques are needed here in order to avoid retrieval at the bottom in a hot thorny field. This another site to wait for the chulos to show you where it is! Launch mid morning and land before noon when it gets too hot and turbulent.

Bailout Landing Zones
There are many towns and fields scattered throughout the area. As a general rule, it is good to land before it gets too hot. Some fields put off some strong lift and empanadas await you with a siesta.

Preferably a top landing site. You can set up over the houses and top land here to save a retrieve. It is a long hot drive to the valley floor.
